Neurosign FAQ 9
9. What are the differences between the Neurosign 100, 400 and 800?
The Neurosign 100 is a two channel nerve monitor, the Neurosign 400 has four channels and the Neurosign 800 has eight.
The Neurosign 100 is suited to mastoidectomy and thyroidectomy, the Neurosign 400 to parotidectomy, and the Neurosign 800 to intra-cranial and spinal surgery.
The Neurosign 400 and 800 have a display which can show waveforms. These are extremely useful in determining whether a response is EMG or artifact; the Neurosign 100 only has a bargraph. The Neurosign 400 and 800 also allow you to print out results for inclusion in patient records.
