Magstim announces 2008 Cognition and Behavior conference to be held in Canada

1 Jul 2008

Magnetic stimulation specialists Magstim are pleased to announce details of its North American "Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Neuro Imaging in Cognition and Behavior" conference to be held on the 25th - 26th September 2008 at the Institut Universitaire de Gériatrie de Montréal, Canada. The two day meeting will see international speakers from across the fields of Neuroscience and Neurology cover a variety of topics relating to Cognition and Behavior.

The meeting in Canada follows the success of Magstim’s London Summer School which saw over 300 international delegates engage in a two-day program of scientific presentations covering the topics of brain stimulation and neuromodulation.

Organized in collaboration with Dr A P Strafella, University of Toronto; Dr O Monchi, University of Montréal; and Dr A Ptito, McGill University and Rogue Research, the "TMS and Neuro Imaging in Cognition and Behavior" conference is aimed at students and researchers interested in the potential of magnetic stimulation in many areas of neurological research.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to see operational magnetic stimulation and neuronavigation equipment during demonstrations provided by Magstim and Rogue Research.
