Laryngeal Electrode (North America)
A single-use, sterilised electrode which attaches to a standard endotracheal tube and is used to monitor the recurrent laryngeal nerves during thyroidectomy or para-thyroidectomy or the vagus nerve during skull-base procedures.
It was cleared for use by the FDA in December 2007 - KO71349.
