Neurosign 400

The Neurosign 400 is a 4 channel EMG monitor for use during surgery. Its waveform display is easily read across the Operating Theatre, and can differentiate between the various types of electrical signals.

With its 4 channels and waveform display, the Neurosign 400 is intended for parotidectomy and general ENT surgery.

The Neurosign 400 gives the flexibility of control to the user. Whereas the Neurosign 100 has all its parameters set, with the exception of the volume and stimulator controls, the Neurosign 400 allows the user to alter many of the underlying default values. For example, the user may use either a Constant Current or a Constant Voltage stimulator pulse; the pulse width may be altered; and the user can choose between a bargraph or a waveform display. However, the machine has various default setups for various surgical procedures built in, so the user does not have to alter settings every time.

And most importantly, the machine always switches ON in the same condition it was switched OFF – and as most machines are used in the same operating theatre and for the same procedures all the time, the setup is limited to the pressing of the ON/OFF switch.
