11 Jan 2008

Following the success of its inaugural meeting in May 2007, Magstim is pleased to announce the second ‘TMS Summer School - Brain Stimulation and Rehabilitation’, organised in collaboration with Professor Vince Walsh, Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience (ICN) and the Department of Psychology, University College London.

The event will be held on 30th & 31st May 2008 at the Kennedy Lecture Theatre at the Institute of Child Health in London.

To reflect the breadth and international scope of this field, speakers will be drawn from across the fields of Neuroscience and Neurology with a programme covering a variety of highly relevant topics over the two days.

The Magstim Young Investigator Award prize will be announced during this meeting,  and the winner will have the opportunity to present their work as part of the overall Summer School programme. Prizes will also be awarded for outstanding contributions to the field of Neuroscience and Neurology.

To compliment the programme there will be demonstrations of related equipment from Magstim and Rogue Research (Brainsight TMS), with other participants to still be confirmed.

To attend this event, registrations should be e-mailed directly  to Rosalyn Lawrence at the ICN (rosalyn.lawrence@ucl.ac.uk), with the subject line marked MAGSTIM SUMMER SCHOOL 2008.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE ONLY 50 PLACES LEFT, WHICH WILL BE ALLOCATED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.
