MagstimEGI has partnered with Mentalab to offer a powerful and flexible mobile EEG system for researchers that need more portability and want to take advantage of open source python tools for data acquisition and analysis. The Explore + system is available in 8, 16 or 32 channels and utilizes gel or dry electrodes fit into caps similar to those used in EEG research systems. Caps are usable in a variety of sizes and from adults to infant sizes and the wearable amplifier can be worn on the back or top of the head or on the participant’s body.
Data can be streamed into the Mentalab recording GUI or into a variety of other acquisition platforms including python, Matlab and C++.
