Magstim is proud to share a major milestone: the Magstim Horizon 3.0 system with StimGuide Pro neuro-navigation has officially received MDR (Medical Device Regulation) approval and is being used by customers in the EU for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

A European First: Horizon 3.0 + StimGuide Pro Installed at Basalt

In partnership with Neurostim, Magstim has successfully completed the first European installations of the Horizon 3.0 + StimGuide Pro systems at Basalt Rehabilitation Centres in The Hague and Leiden, Netherlands.

These advanced systems will play a central role in the B-STARS2 study (Brain STimulation for Arm Recovery after Stroke) — a large-scale clinical trial led by UMC Utrecht. The study explores the therapeutic potential of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) in improving motor function after stroke.
